Abstract: Investigates culture condition and extracellular hydrolase of 14 strains of different Arctic sea ice bacteria. Finds optimal growth temperature of strains is 15°C or 20°C, and optimal pH is 8.0 (bacteria hardly grow in acid conditions). Strains have different abilities to produce amylase, protease, cellulase and lipase.
