Abstract: Investigates diet of indigenous women in Canadian Arctic in terms of dietary adequacy, and assesses contribution of traditional food to diet. Finds that contributions of traditional Arctic foods to energy intakes vary, and prevalence of inadequacies is generally high for magnesium, vitamin A, folate, vitamin C and vitamin E; also that supplement use is frequent.
