Abstract: Investigates prevalence of traditional food use and physical activity and associations with cultural factors among 3,830 Alaska Native and American Indian people enrolled in Education and research Towards Health (EARTH) study in three regions of Alaska. Study finds relationships between traditional food use, physical activities, cultural activities and behaviours. Consumption of variety of traditional foods and participation in traditional physical activities remain important part of contemporary Alaska Native lifestyle.
