Abstract: Evaluates Stephen Langdon's characterisation of Tlingit and Haida resource orientations and adaptations to habitat, using faunal assemblages from Cape Addington Rockshelter and other archaeological sites in outer Prince of Wales Archipelago. Compares Cape Addington faunal assemblage with suite of Kunghit Haida assemblages to demonstrate limitations of search for ethnically distinct "adaptations".
