| Abstract: | Presents data from satellite-linked radio-tag survey conducted between 1993-2004, which provides information on movement of walrus (Odobenus rosmarus rosmarus) in Canada's High Arctic. Incorporates data with other information available since 1995 to reassess management units in Canada. Tagging data and other information suggest need for some finer discrimination of walrus populations as precautionary approach, and to formulate testable hypotheses. |
