| Abstract: | Report from workshop held in Stockholm, 12-14 November 2007, identifying gaps in existing Arctic environmental observing systems, and presenting constructive, realistic and urgent proposals on how systems should be maintained and expanded. Systems reviewed monitor atmosphere, ocean/sea-ice interaction, terrestrial and freshwater ecosystems, hydrology/cryosphere, and human habitation. |
