Record #184472:

Greenland makes do with little land planning / Jane George.

Title: Greenland makes do with little land planning / Jane George.
Author(s): George, Jane.
Date: 2008.
In: Nunatsiaq News. (2008.), Vol. 36(26) (2008)
Abstract: Reports efforts of Greenland government to devolve land-planning function to municipalities, in context of critique of land-planning procedures given by Greenland's chief land planner at conference in Iqaluit in July 2008. Notes that Greenland has no planning review boards to assess development proposals for environmental impact; also that, despite home rule, Denmark handled all decision-making with respect to land planning until 1987.
