Fisheries Monitoring and Analysis Division redesigns observer sampling / Jennifer Cahalan, Jennifer Ferdinand.

Title: Fisheries Monitoring and Analysis Division redesigns observer sampling / Jennifer Cahalan, Jennifer Ferdinand.
Author(s): Cahalan, Jennifer.
Ferdinand, Jennifer.
Date: 2008.
In: Alaska Fisheries Science Center. Quarterly Report. (2008.), Jan-Mar (2008)
Abstract: Reports redesign of two databases storing observer data: at-sea database used by observers to enter and transmit data, and repository Alaska Fisheries Science Center database where data are permanently stored. Notes that redesign has removed burden from observers of performing most calculations required for in-season fisheries management, allowing observers to record only what they see and measure.
