Abstract: Presents first survey of subtidal macrobenthic assemblages of Bahía San Sebastián, prime habitat for migratory shore birds such as Hudsonian godwit, which lies at heart of most important hydrocarbon extraction area of Tierra del Fuego. Compares assemblages occurring inside and outside bay and discusses possible abiotic factors influencing their distribution.
