Record #184129:

Arctic air pollution: origins and impacts / Kathy S. Law, Andreas Stohl.

Title: Arctic air pollution: origins and impacts / Kathy S. Law, Andreas Stohl.
Author(s): Law, Kathy S.
Stohl, Andreas.
Date: 2007.
Abstract: Examines contribution of air pollutants (such as aerosols and ozone) to warming trends observed in Arctic. Describes mechanism whereby pollutants are transported to Arctic, primarily from Eurasia, leading to high concentrations in winter and spring (Arctic haze). Also notes local sources of pollution, including ship emissions and summer boreal forest fires.
