Abstract: Notes relatively high content of dissoluble iron forms identified in upper part of frozen soils of Central Yamal. Suggests that iron-saturation of landscapes is connected with circulation of iron in atmosphere, with peculiarities of circulation determined by industrial pollution and geochemical activity in atmosphere. Proposes phenomenological model describing geochemical cycle of iron in atmosphere over Yamal Peninsula.
