| Abstract: | Provides comprehensive geochemical description of Ob and Yenisey rivers. Summarises available published and unpublished data and presents new assessments of average concentrations of dissolved and particulate heavy metals, organic carbon, nutrients and gross and net fluxes to Arctic Ocean. Discusses main processes of biogeochemical transformation of riverine sedimentary material in water column of estuarine-deltaic zones of Ob and Yenisey in relation to their influence on geochemical characteristics of bottom sediments. |
