Analyses of structure of planetary boundary layer in ice camp over Arctic Ocean / Lingen Bian, Longhua Lu, Zhanhai Zhang, Cheng Bin.
Title: | Analyses of structure of planetary boundary layer in ice camp over Arctic Ocean / Lingen Bian, Longhua Lu, Zhanhai Zhang, Cheng Bin. |
Author(s): | Bian, Lingen. Lu, Longhua. Zhang, Zhanhai. Bin, Cheng. |
Date: | 2007. |
In: | Chinese Journal of Polar Research. (2007.), Vol. 18(1) (2007) |
Abstract: | Presents vertical structure of planetary boundary layer over Arctic floating ice, using 50 atmospheric profiles and relevant data sounded at ice station over Arctic Ocean from 22 August-3 September 2003. Demonstrates that height of connective boundary layer by day is greater than heat of stability boundary layer by night. |
