Abstract: Describes growth of mining operations at Minto copper mine where third phase of expansion is planned less than four months after opening. Notes that Minto orebody is flat-lying, approximately 335 m long in north-south dimension, and 248 m wide in east-west dimension; also that, although orebody does not outcrop, it lies close to surface, and has been developed as open pit.
