| Abstract: | Reports research to estimate input and accumulation of mercury in Arctic marine waters, involving sampling at 20 stations along LOMROG 2007 expedition route. Finds that enhanced deposition and river input of mercury leads to accumulation of mercury in polar water body (e.g. concentration of dissolved gaseous mercury is up to ten times higher in Arctic Basin than in North Atlantic Ocean). |
