| Abstract: | Reports presentations and discussion at workshop held in Seattle, 22-24 October 2007, to advance understanding of mechanisms behind recent climate change in Arctic and Antarctic. Arctic issues include loss of sea ice, oceanic change, processes involved in Arctic climate change, hydroclimatology, and modelling and predicting Arctic climate. Antarctic issues include ozone hole, sea ice, glaciers, and Southern Ocean, and predicting Antarctic climate. Issues of bipolar relevance are also discussed. |
