| Abstract: | Presents atmospheric circulation conditions in 2005-06 above Spitsbergen in comparison with long-term period 1951-2006. Notes that strong cyclonic activity is typical in Spitsbergen and annual frequency of cyclonic situations amounts to 56.5%. Maximum syclonic activity is observed from September to february, while minimum is concentrated in May. |
