Abstract: | Explores knowledge gap in application of cognitive and management techniques for reducing or eliminating anthropogenic environmental risk associated with oil development, with particular reference to case study of roadless oil development in North Slope area of Alaska. Uses findings from case study to develop proposals for method of rendering environmental risk decisions in more efficient manner, while preserving distributive justice and without recourse to legislative change. |
