| Abstract: | Describes hydrochemical structure and its variability, based on data from three surveys conducted in 1990-93. Finds that distribution of dissolved oxygen and nutrients in surface layer is mainly affected by production processes while those at 200 m and 500 m depths relate to water dynamics and eddies accompanied by upward and downwelling water currents. Discusses role of organic forms of nitrogen, phosphorus and ammonium. |
