| Abstract: | Identifies general patterns of snow cover distribution from snow surveys in April-May, 2003 in catchments of Aldegonda and Grøn rivers. Divides Aldegonda catchment into glacier and moraine parts, finding relatively even distribution of snow density and increase of thickness towards margins characteristic of glacier area (Aldegondabreen) and very uneven distributions of snow density and thickness characteristic of moraine area and related to relief roughness. In Grøn basin observes general trend of increasing snow thickness and density from head to mouth. |
