Title: Trends in abundance of collared lemmings near Cape Churchill, Manitoba, Canada / Matthew E. Reiter, David E. Andersen.
Author(s): Reiter, Matthew E.
Andersen, David E.
Date: 2008.
In: Journal of Mammalogy. (2008.), Vol. 89(1) (2008)
Abstract: Reports estimation of trends in population size of Richardson's collared lemmings (Dicrostonyx richardsoni) in 2004 and 2005, and evaluation of extent of synchrony between two coastal tundra study areas separated by 60 km near Cape Churchill, Manitoba. Finds lemming population cycles with 2.8-year periodicity; also synchronicity of phase between study areas.
