Record #183176:

Using environmental variables to predict the structure of deep-sea Arctic fish communities: implications for food web construction / Chandra A. Chambers, Terry A. Dick.

Title: Using environmental variables to predict the structure of deep-sea Arctic fish communities: implications for food web construction / Chandra A. Chambers, Terry A. Dick.
Author(s): Chambers, Chandra A.
Dick, Terry A.
Date: 2007.
In: Arctic, Antarctic, and Alpine Research. (2007.), Vol. 39(1) (2007)
Abstract: Examines predictive power of environmental variables on fish community composition using redundancy analysis. Determines usefulness of information thus derived for differentiating distinct trophic communities throughout David Strait/Baffin Bay region. Analysis uses data collected in benthic surveys from 2000-04. Results indicate strong influence of water temperature, latitude and depth on distribution of fish species in region.
