Abstract: Presents suitable bird indicators for evaluating and monitoring changes in nature at urbanising tourist destinations (ski resorts). Hypothesizes that urban species may increase abundance while species sensitive to disturbance or those preferring more natural areas may decrease in abundance as resort urbanises.
