Record #182455:

Contribution of environmental factors to temperature distribution at different resolution levels on the forefield of the Loven Glaciers, Svalbard / Daniel Joly, Thierry Brossard.

Title: Contribution of environmental factors to temperature distribution at different resolution levels on the forefield of the Loven Glaciers, Svalbard / Daniel Joly, Thierry Brossard.
Author(s): Joly, Daniel.
Brossard, Thierry.
Date: 2007.
In: Polar Record. (2007.), Vol. 43(227) (2007)
Abstract: Explores difference between temperature and deterministic factors at different scales on 10 km² study area on north-western coast of Svalbard. Develops geographical information system containing three sources of information: temperature, remotely sensed imagery and digital elevation models, and derived raster data layers. Finds high dependence between temperature and one or more of explanatory variables.
