| Abstract: | Investigates performance of MODIS sea ice products for discriminating sea ice from clouds for Okhotsk sea. Compares performance with that for Bering sea. Results suggest need for parameter modification in algorithm for Okhotsk sea, changing normalized difference snow index (NDSI) threshold from 0.6 to 0.4. |
