Abstract: Presents estimates of site-specific cancer incidence rates in Arkhangelskaya Oblast and compares with incidence in Norway. Finds incidence of most cancer types to be quite different in northern Russian population than in Norway; also that incidence among women is relatively low, except for stomach cancer.
