| Abstract: | Presents results of first comprehensive survey in November 2005 for Adélie penguin breeding sites in islands east of Mawson station. Breeding penguins were found on 30 islands distributed throughout group, with exception of south east, and number of nests ranged from fewer than 10 to several thousand. Includes spatial coordinates and presence or absence of breeding penguins for all 149 islands in group. |
