| Abstract: | Presents compilation of observation data of temperature, precipitation and snow depth for network of 38 stations in vicinity of Barents and Kara seas, for period 1951-92. Corrects monthly precipitation totals for measuring errors and describes correction method in detail. Finds annual precipitation in region to range from 500 mm along coast of Kara Peninsula to less than 200 mm in parts of north-eastern Kara Sea. |
