| Abstract: | Presents results of probabilistic interpretation of ice thickness forecasts in Kara, Laptev, East Siberian and Chukchi seas. Method is based on approach of conditional forecast error distribution previously formulated by author. Aims to develop means of estimating uncertainty of categorical forecasts in accordance with concept of "end-to-end" forecasting. Includes results of calculating density distribution parameters of actual dates grouped by decadal forecasts. Demonstrates advantages of proposed method in comparison with traditional matrices of conjugation. |
