Record #180613:

Ecological classification of deer habitat in the Tongass National Forest, Alaska / Christopher J. Farmer, Matthew D. Kirchhoff.

Title: Ecological classification of deer habitat in the Tongass National Forest, Alaska / Christopher J. Farmer, Matthew D. Kirchhoff.
Author(s): Farmer, Christopher J.
Kirchhoff, Matthew D.
Date: 2007.
In: Northwestern Naturalist. (2007.), Vol. 88(2) (2007)
Abstract: Presents classification of forest ecosystem using cluster analysis on suite of 12 environmental variables of ecological importance to deer. Analysis identifies ecological typology consisting of three old-growth and five second-growth forest types, and one non-forest cover type. Notes that method employed enables production of ecological classification incorporating information from existing resource database.
Notes:

Northwestern Naturalist. Vol. 88(2) :73-84 (2007).
