| Abstract: | Presents results of large-scale experiments on artificial contamination of sea ice cover by oil products with aim of studying influence of oil on reflectivity (albedo) of sea ice and their spreading within ice layers. Measures and compares albedo of pristine sea ice surface with contaminated sea ice surface, and correlates with different meteorological conditions. Considers application of results to mathematical modelling. |
