Date: | 2004. |
Publisher: | Tallahassee, FL.: Florida State University, Department of Geology, Antarctic Marine Geology Research Facility |
Abstract: | Outlines results of workshop which assessed operations and current state of utilization of storage at Antarctic Marine Geological Research Facility (AMGRF), and considered long-term repository needs of US Antarctic Program after present refrigerated storage facility runs out of space after 2008 or 2009. Includes discussion of access to Southern Ocean cores and data; techniques for using, visualizing, storing and disseminating metadata; and evaluation of requirements for physical storage, sampling, and analysis of repository samples. |
