Date: | 2007. |
In: | Polar Biology. (2007.), Vol. 30(4) (2007) |
Abstract: | Investigates diving behaviour of three juvenile narwhals (Monodon monoceros) equipped with satellite-relayed data loggers. Records total of 1,354 complete dive cycles. Finds most diving to be shallow and of short duration. Discusses recorded variations in ascent speed, vertical ascent speed, descent speed, vertical descent speed, and ascent and descent angles. |
