Record #180406:

Sea ice primary productivity in the northern Barents Sea, spring 2004 / A. McMinn, E.N. Hegseth.

Title: Sea ice primary productivity in the northern Barents Sea, spring 2004 / A. McMinn, E.N. Hegseth.
Author(s): McMinn, A.
Hegseth, E. N.
Date: 2007.
In: Polar Biology. (2007.), Vol. 30(3) (2007)
Abstract: Assesses biomass and productivity of sea ice algae in north-western Barents Sea in May 2004. Finds sea ice algal pigment content to be patchy, and algal community to be dominated by diatom Nitzschia fridiga; also measurements of primary production to be consistent with previous Arctic measurements (but high spatial heterogeneity make regional estimate of production inappropriate).
Notes:
