Abstract: | Examines relationship between satellite-derived (sea-viewing wide field-of-view sensor) surface chlorophyll-a distribution and climatic conditions in the Barents Sea for period 1998-2002. Finds temporal and spatial distribution of chlorophyll-a to be strongly influenced by light regime, mixed layer depth, wind speed and ice cover. |
