Record #180251:

Epiphytic macrolichen communities in Pinus contorta peatlands in southeastern Alaska / Chiska C. Derr, Bruce McCune, Linda H. Geiser.

Title: Epiphytic macrolichen communities in Pinus contorta peatlands in southeastern Alaska / Chiska C. Derr, Bruce McCune, Linda H. Geiser.
Author(s): Derr, Chiska C.
McCune, Bruce.
Geiser, Linda H.
Date: 2007.
In: Bryologist. (2007.), Vol. 110(3) (2007)
Abstract: Examines epiphytic macrolichen communities on tree branches in 50 Pinus contorta peatlands. Describes natural range of variability in lichen community in habitats under baseline air quality and climatological conditions, and interprets relationship between lichen community gradients and site characteristics. Finds that species richness and total lichen abundance are most strongly related to geographic variables.
