Abstract: Discusses data analysis of 82 cases of rape and attempted rape reported to police in Greenland. Finds vast majority of assaults to have occurred in private homes and often in presence of other people; also incidence of police-reported sexual assaults to be high compared with incidence in Nordic countries and pattern of assaults to differ from that found in many other countries.
