| Abstract: | Devises and tests scientific-methodological techniques for purpose of classifying sources of pollutants and assessing scale of impact on biota. Analyses sources, migration paths, transformation and accumulation of pollutants (natural and artificial) during sedimentogenesis. On basis of data from more than 1,100 stations in Western Arctic shelf of Russia (Barents, Pechora, Kara seas) evaluates levels of concentrations of all major groups of pollutants (surfactants, HC, PAN, phenols, HM, COC radionuclides) in bottom environment (water, suspensions and bottom sediments). Differential and integral analysis of parameters of bottom environment testifies to relatively low level of anthropogenic stress. |
