| Abstract: | Report of meeting at Institute of Cetacean Research, Tokyo, summarising discussions on issues which could be considered for future SOWER cruises. Workshop agreed among others to prioritise research on Antarctic minke and blue whales; determination of proportion of whales in sea ice; and investigation of stock structure. Annex presents information on distribution and concentration of baleen species in Antarctica. |
