Текстура снежной толщи как детерминированный фрактал
Title: | Текстура снежной толщи как детерминированный фрактал |
Title, transliterated: | Tekstura snezhnoĭ tolshchi kak determinirovannyĭ fraktal / N.A. Kazakov. |
Translated title: | Texture of snow cover sequence as a deterministic fractal. |
Author(s): | Kazakov, N. A. |
Date: | 2006. |
Language: | Russian. |
In: | Materialy Gli︠a︡t︠s︡iologicheskikh Issledovaniĭ. (2006.), Vol. 101 (2006) |
Abstract: | Considers snow layer texture as spatial non-uniform ordered dissipative structure, formed by texture element comprising clusters of ice crystals of constructive metamorphic stage with dendritic structure. Illustrates with macro- and microscopic photographs of snow layer textures and obtains fractal dimensions of first, second and third order structures, including space lattice described as Serpinsky's sponge, and depth hoar textures formed by columnar crystals of skeletal and semi-skeletal grain shape. |
