| Abstract: | Uses maximum entropy method to obtain spectral densities of isotopic records in Antarctic ice cores (Dome C, Dome F, Vostok) and marine sediments (B94, SPECMAP, S704) and describes their bi-variety spectral characteristics. Presents spectra for periods 8 kyr and longer, noting all records have similar pattern but differ in fine details. Shows that oscillations corresponding to frequencies associated with astronomical factors are highly coherent, but questions whether coherence originates with timing methodologies. |
