Abstract: | Observes that four molluscan species that migrated to Iceland during deposition of sedimentary sequences on north side of Snaefellsnes, west Iceland at about 1.1 Ma are not living in Iceland today. Argues that three of four species (Tachyrhynchus erfosus, Portlandica arctica and Tridonta placenta) migrated from east Greenland during final stages of glaciation. |
