Title: | Root fungus colonization along an altitudinal gradient in north Norway / A.L. Ruotsalainen, H. Väre, J. Oksanen, J. Tuomi. |
Author(s): | Ruotsalainen, A. L. Väre, H. Oksanen, J. Tuomi, J. |
Date: | 2004. |
In: | Arctic, Antarctic, and Alpine Research. (2004.), Vol. 36(2) (2004) |
Abstract: | Investigates arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) and dark-septate endophytic (DSE) root colonisation in six sub-Arctic herbaceous plants along altitudinal gradient (01-1400 m a.s.l.) at Mt Paras, North Norway. Finds no consistent decline in different types of fungus colonisation along entire gradient, and no statistically significant shift in AM or DSE colonisation with altitude. |
