| Abstract: | Compares precisions of different methods of estimating lichen biomass from ground cover and thallus height of most important species: Cladonia arbuscula, C. rangiferina, C. stellaris and Cetraria islandica. Different methods yield remarkably similar results, except when cover estimation is based on presence/absence data with strict criterion of 100% lichen cover. |
