Abstract: Studies spore and pollen associations from moraine, lacustrine and glacio-lacustrine deposits from last Quaternary glaciation. Describes three types of plant formations (periglacial, Arctic and sub-Arctic) at glacial maximum (20-18 k yrs.). Describes palynological zones using quantitative calculation of spore and pollen content based on study of section near Kolpashevo (Middle Ob' region) and radiocarbon dating. Establishes that boreal-taiga zone experienced greatest changes, was nearly devoid of forests and annual precipitation was 300-400 mm less than present day.
