Abstract: Analyses seedling establishment and seedling height development of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris) in seed-tree stands in north-east Lapland. Models seedling density using multinomial logistic regression with random factor. Notes that forest site type and time since seed-tree cutting are most significant explanatory factors in model. Results suggest that regeneration of Scots pine in north-east Lapland is relatively slow process.
