Abstract: Reports results of standardised survey during ice-free season of 2004 to provide baseline information on fish present in water less than 15 m deep. Records 25 species in 15 families belonging to five ecological guilds: estuarine and marine fish resident in bay; anadromous species in transit; marine species migrating into bay to spawn; offshore-spawning marine fish for which bay is nursery area; and marine species occasionally migrating into bay to feed.
