| Abstract: | Reports discovery of archaeological site by team of geologists near Cape Southwest, Axel Heiberg Island in 1999. Analysis of artefacts followed by later archaeological investigation confirm attribution to Hans Krüger's German Arctic Expedition (1929-30) but suggest that site is not campsite but remains of deliberately and carefully constructed cache. |
