| Abstract: | Presents observations of bottom topography of Young Sound/Tyrolerfjord system from different sections, noting that fjord system has total volume of 40 km³ and surface area of 390 km². Reports hydrographic observations for summer period showing great influence from freshwater discharge on mixed layer depth in fjord. Also considers new model simulations of evolution of mixed layer during summer season. |
