Abstract: Analyses characteristics of sea ice-atmosphere interaction in northern high latitudes for several recent decades, using European Centre of Medium Range Forecast (ECMWF) reanalysis dataset (ERA40). Under background of global warming, amplitude of temperature increase in winter in northern latitudes is growing, and has different features according to region. From end of 1970s, Greenland Sea, Barents Sea and most of Euro-Asian and North American Continents are getting warmer, while Labrador Sea and area round Bering Strait are cooling.
